Molded Grating
Fibergrate® Molded grating comes in square and rectangular mesh. Among its many uses, it is often used for walkways and flooring in wineries. Fibergrate Composite Structures offers molded grating in two non-slip surface options – meniscus and integrally applied grit. Molded grating is available in a variety of depths and panel sizes. It is preferred over pultruded grating in food and beverage facilities because each panel is manufactured as a one peice configuration. This design makes it very easy to clean.
Stair Treads and Stair Covers
Fibergrate offers molded and pultruded treads. These can either be used to build new stairs or to replace existing stairs. Because of our unmatched fabrication services, the assembly of your stairs is as easy as it can possibly be.
If you are looking to refresh the appearance of your stairs without replacing them, you can have FRP stair tread covers installed. FRP stair tread covers can be installed over your current stair treads. They offer unmatched slip resistance and will pay for themselves in less than a year because you will no longer have to continuously reapply nonslip tape.
Fibergrate’s stair tread covers are light weight, easy to install and are able to retrofit to the existing structure.
Fiberplate® Floor Plate
Fiberplate floor plate is a solid composite panel installed on traditional surfaces in order to make the surface slip resistant. As with all our FRP products, Fiberplate is corrosion resistant and light weight. Its nonporous surface is easy to clean making it the perfect match for your food and beverage facility.
Platform Solutions
Fibergrate offers fully fabricated platform solutions. They can be custom designed to fit the specifications of your facility. Our platforms have the option of including stairs, guardrails, handrails, ladders and structural components for the entire platform. Due to the wide array of components, you have the option of building your platform entirely out of FRP products to get the full benefit. Winery employees favor the ergonomic design of our materials because it cuts the amount of strain placed on their body.
FGI-AM® Resin
Fibergrate Composite Structures offers a resin system specifically formulated for the food and beverage industry. It is intended for non-public health uses. The FGI-AM resin system is available for all Fibergrate grating, covered grating, plate, work station platforms and stair tread products.
FGI-AM Resin has been tested to inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause discoloration, foul odors and mildew on the surface of the products. It is USDA approvable and has an ASTM E84 flame spread index of 25 or less. The corrosion resistant properties make it the perfect fit for wineries.
FRP is a surprisingly practical material choice for many winery applications. The cost savings over stainless steel in addition to the various benefits of FRP are all reasons FRP is becoming widely popular in wineries.
